# Your AI built it. Who checked it?

URL: https://sitecurl.com/for/vibe-coders

SiteCurl runs independent checks on your live site: SEO tags, security headers, speed, accessibility, and uptime. Paste a URL for a free scan, or let your coding agent call us over MCP.

## Why it matters

A site that renders is not a site that has been checked. Nothing in your build tells you a canonical tag is missing, a security header never shipped, or a page got slower after the last prompt. An AI builder optimizes for the page you asked for. A second check on the deployed site covers everything you did not think to ask for.

## What you get

- Paste your URL and get a scored report with prioritized fixes. Your first scan is free and needs no account. The report is written in plain English, not in audit jargon.
- Fix plans with ranked steps and code snippets. Copy a fix and paste it back into your agent as the next prompt. The agent gets a specific, checkable instruction instead of a vague request to make the site better.
- An MCP server your agent can call. It can add the site, run a scan, and read findings (sitecurl_add_site, sitecurl_scan, and sitecurl_findings, plus nine more), so the agent checks its own work against an independent source. It works with Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf. MCP and API access are on Pro and Studio.
- Scheduled scans that report what changed since the last one. A regression from your next edit shows up as a regression, not as a surprise a visitor finds first.
- Over 90 checks across SEO, speed, security, accessibility, technical health, uptime, and AI readiness. The free preview scan runs the fastest subset on the HTML your server returns.

## What gets missed when nobody reviews the output

- Security headers that never shipped. Security headers like Content-Security-Policy, X-Frame-Options and Cross-Origin-Opener-Policy often never ship, because nothing in the prompt asked for one. The audit flags each missing header and tells you what to add on your host.
- Titles, descriptions, and canonical tags. A generated page can ship with a placeholder title, a missing meta description, or no canonical link. The audit reports each one, so search engines see what you meant them to see.
- Accessibility basics. A missing skip-navigation link, missing alt text, and weak heading structure are easy for a generator to skip and easy for an audit to find. Fixing them helps keyboard and screen reader users.
- Trust pages and contact details. The audit looks for a visible privacy policy link and contact information, which a prototype often leaves out and a real visitor expects to find.
- Speed regressions after each edit. A new third-party script or an oversized image slows the page with no error anywhere. The audit reports response time, page size, render-blocking CSS, and scripts loaded without async or defer.

## Context

AI builders like Lovable, Bolt, v0, and Cursor have made it possible to ship a working site in an afternoon. What they do not do is audit the result. The builder optimizes for the page you described. It does not know your canonical URL should be set, that a security header is missing on your host, or that the homepage got slower with the last prompt. You usually find out when a visitor, a search engine, or a client does. A site audit is the second set of eyes that the builder cannot be.

SiteCurl scans the live, deployed URL, not your source code. That makes it independent of whichever tool built the site. Paste the address, and the free preview scan returns a score, the problems it found, and what to do about each one in plain English. Create an account and the free 7-day Studio trial gives you the full set of over 90 checks, fix plans with code snippets you can paste back into your agent, and scheduled scans that tell you what changed since last time. The same findings come back through the REST API and the MCP server.

The MCP server is the part built for agents. Connect Claude Code, Cursor, or Windsurf and your agent can add the site, run a scan, and read the findings itself, then fix what it finds and scan again. That closes the loop: the agent that built the site checks its own work against a source it did not write. You stay in charge of what ships, and the check is not the agent grading its own homework.

One limit to know about. A scan reads the HTML your server returns. Sites that render almost everything in the browser with JavaScript send very little HTML, so some checks may not reflect the fully rendered page. When SiteCurl sees that pattern, it adds an info finding saying so. Security headers, response time, and other checks that do not depend on rendered text work either way. API and MCP access are on Pro and Studio, and every account starts with a free 7-day Studio trial, no credit card required.

## FAQ

### Does it work on sites rendered by JavaScript?
Partly. A scan reads the HTML your server returns. If a page sends almost no text and uses a JavaScript framework, SiteCurl adds an info finding saying some checks may not reflect the fully rendered page. Security headers, speed, and other server-side checks still apply.

### Do I need to be a developer to use it?
No. Paste your URL and read the report. Each finding comes with a plain-English fix, and you can paste it into your AI builder as your next prompt. The MCP server is optional.

### What do the API and MCP server cost?
They are on Pro and Studio. Every account starts with a free 7-day Studio trial, no credit card required, so you can connect your agent before you decide.

### Which AI builders does it work with?
SiteCurl scans any public URL, so it works with a site from Lovable, Bolt, v0, Cursor, or anything else. For MCP, Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf are supported today.

### Is the first scan really free?
Yes. Paste a URL on this page for a free preview scan. No account and no credit card needed.
